The Serene Innovations CA-CX is a visual flashing signaler for cell phone and landline phone calls. It detects vibration notifications from your cell phone (i.e. phone calls, FaceTime calls, text messages, etc.) and then alerts you to those notifications through an extra loud ringer and/or bright flasher.
